Empowering Communities With Clubs
Mfano Bora Africa has road safety clubs across the country. The clubs are formed within corporate organizations, schools, government agencies, and among individuals. Road safety club activities typically focus on raising awareness and promoting safe road usage. These activities often include educational campaigns, interactive workshops, and practical demonstrations to educate individuals about traffic rules, safe driving practices, and pedestrian safety.
Our Mfano Bora School Road Safety Clubs (MBSRSC) are unique and not like any other clubs in schools. It is a life experience club, touching the lives of thousands of young people who are vulnerable on the roads. The Mfano Bora School Road Safety Club not only offers a long and sustainable way of communicating frequent messages to young children from pre-school to adulthood and beyond, but also acts as a platform for young people to promote peer-to-peer education on the importance of observing road safety rules (especially good pedestrian behavior) hence meaningful participation.
Our Mfano Bora Corporate Road Safety Clubs are initiatives where businesses and their employees actively participate in promoting road safety both within the workplace and the wider community. These clubs often involve implementing safety programs, raising awareness about safe driving practices, and advocating for safer road conditions. Mfano Bora Africa supports the clubs by fostering partnerships and providing resources for road safety interventions.
The Road Safety Cup is an initiative, primarily started by Mfano Bora Africa Limited to promote road safety awareness in East Africa.
The Road Safety Cup is a partnership initiative involving football teams and partners to leverage the popularity of sporting events to engage the community with life-saving messages. This initiative collectively aims to reduce road fatalities and injuries by addressing human error, advocating for better infrastructure and technology, and promoting a general culture of road safety.
We strongly believe that football tournaments are a highly effective way to raise road safety awareness due to their large and passionate audiences, especially among young people, who are a high-risk group for road accidents. By incorporating road safety campaigns into the tournament's branding and activities, organizers can reach a massive audience with powerful and memorable messaging.
Football clubs can work with Mfano Bora Africa Limited to offer rewards or funding to local clubs that promote road safety. This provides an incentive for clubs to run their own initiatives, such as organizing designated drivers or promoting safe travel for players to and from training.
Partner with academies and youth clubs to provide traffic safety lectures and training for young players. This directly educates a new generation of drivers and road users on safe conduct.
Use the tournament's energy to engage fans directly through competitions, challenges, or trivia games related to road safety, with prizes offered by tournament sponsors.
