
OUR STORY
Our first award in the year 2001 was held at Carnivore grounds and it was officiated by Hon. Amos Wako then Attorney General of Kenya. The Award was dubbed best matatu in Nairobi – and was aimed at promoting Road Safety among the PSV sector. We organized this as National Road Safety Agency-Non-Governmental Organization.
In the year 2003, we partnered with Traffic Police department and Ministry of Transport and trained 200 base commanders countrywide at Utalii College Hotel.
In the year 2005 our work having been noticed by the government one of our own was appointed to the National Steering Committee on Road Safety that gave birth to the current NTSA.
In the year 2007 we started Road Safety Clubs in Schools which now stand at 600 the largest managed by private entity. In the year 2009 We organized the largest Road Safety Awards which was graced by the Minister for Finance Hon. Njeru Githae.
In 2010 Our event was graced by Assistant Minister for Roads the current CS for Trade Hon. Lee Kinyanjui. This was the end of National Road Safety Agency and we ushered in new Entity known as Safety Plus Consulting Limited and started Road Safety Training and Customer Care as our second product.
In 2015, we moved to the East Africa region and organized Regional (EA) Transport & Logistics Awards up to the year 2019. The year 2020 we did not organize the gala night due to COVID.
In the year 2017, we partnered with UBER and NTSA to provide Traffic Marshals.
In the year 2021 our event was graced by CS for Interior Hon Dr. Fred Matiangi
In the year 2022 our award was graced by H.E Dr. William Ruto President of Republic of Kenya.
In the year 2024 we folded Safety Plus Consulting Limited and Launched a new vehicle Mfano Bora Africa Limited and launched Driver Data Management Bureau as our third service.
